Revealing the History of the “God Eagle” Army

Ubon United was born on January 30, 2015 (2015) by the Eagles who had risen up the ranks from amateur football until reaching Division 1 in the 2016 (2016) season and stepped up to compete in the highest-level football league.

Countries’ leagues like the Thai League were able to get it in the 2017 season (2017), which is considered only 2 years since its inception before making outstanding form. And this was by collecting Victory in the first 3 matches and rising to the top of the Thai League caused many people, especially football fans in the northeast.

We are very excited to have another team from the Isaan region playing at the highest level of football in Thailand.

However, that happiness was only for a short time because although the Eagles were able to produce a performance of 12 wins, 11 draws, and 11 losses, grabbing 47 points and ranking 10th in the table in the first season, in the following season their form dropped off.

They won only 5 games and scored only 34 goals, finishing in 17th place. They were relegated to Thai League 2. Even though they were relegated, many fans still didn’t give up.

Supporting the team and believing that this return to minor league football will be a temporary matter. But since that day, the Eagles have never returned to the Thai Football League again. Moreover, the team was also ordered to play amateur football for financial and licensing reasons in 2020.

Although the Eagles of Ubon United have finished their time playing Thai League football, readers are still not out of time to enjoy betting on Thai League football and can still find sports websites that do not go through agents to continue betting on Thai League football.

UMT Stadium is located in the Eastern University of Management and Technology in Mueang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.

It is considered to be a top-level football stadium in Ubon Ratchathani Province. The stadium can currently accommodate approximately 6,000 football fans.

UMT The stadium is one of the few state-of-the-art stadiums built specifically for football matches in the Northeast. Look at the stands next to the edge of the field without a running track like many places in Thailand.

It reflects the vision of the Ubon United team management at that time that they wanted to invest and develop the team to become a sports center of Ubon Ratchathani Province to raise the level of sports in the province.

The history of UMT Stadium began construction in 2015 until completed in late 2016, coinciding with Ubon United’s first match in the Thai League.

Also, the first game after the stadium opened was a warm-up game between Thep Insee and Nong Bua. Pitchaya FC, which the home team was able to win with a score of 1-0 thanks to a goal from Brazilian striker Tiago Chulapa.
