What Time Does Panda Express Close

Panda Express is the largest family-owned and runs Asian food franchise in America, with over 2,300 locations, 47,000 employees, and $3 billion in revenue.

What was the Origin of the Panda Express?

Andrew Cherng fled China in the mid-1960s to study mathematics at Baker University in Kansas.

He met another Chinese migrant, Peggy Tsiang, while there, and the two fell in love while pursuing various fancy degrees.

(Mrs. Cherng has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a Masters’s in Computer Science. Mr. Cherng has a master’s in applied mathematics).

Despite his fancy degrees, the Cherng launched The Panda Inn, a sit-down Chinese restaurant in Pasadena, California, in 1973.

Review of the Panda Express Menu

The item at Panda Express that jumps out the most is really from Japan.

They serve the teriyaki chicken thighs in a silver warming tray alongside the other foods.

But behind it is a cutting board and cleaver. And they chopped immediately the chicken on the spot. Before it reaches your plate, the sauce is added.

That the chicken isn’t sitting in teriyaki sauce the entire time keeps it moist.

And that it isn’t sitting in teriyaki sauce the entire time makes it actually rather good.

I want to learn how to make this at home, my mother says.

The Beijing Beef was also excellent, with a crisp texture, and sweet and sour flavors.

And enough acid from the onions to avoid the dish from becoming too dry.

So did the Kung Pao Chicken, which had a good amount of heat and a good mix of peanuts and not-too-soft vegetables.

“Kevin, you know I’m not eating the spicy food,” my mother says. You should’ve warned me about the heat.

Don’t laugh; that wasn’t a pleasant thing to say. “I’m going to fetch some more tea.”

Finally, the chicken egg roll from the appetizer menu was tasty, and the crispy wonton wrapper was surprising not to be greasy.

It reminded me of my middle school days when my friends and I would all buy the $8 lunch special plate.

at an awful Chinese restaurant in the heart of my suburban Boston town center.

Then bring the egg rolls that came with the said meal to eat on the way to Sam Goody to peruse.
