Nu Skin offers a wide range of items and supplements for skincare, but also claims it has a higher mission. Here’s a closer look at what Nu Skin is offering, and is it right for you?
There are plenty of options these days to purchase your skincare and beauty products. Some of us also tend to test items and browse through brick and mortar stores.
While others tend word of mouth tips from friends who likewise use the moonlight as brand “ambassadors.”
What is Nu Skin?
Nu Skin debuted in 1984, offering skincare and nutritional goods under two umbrella brands: Nu Skin and Pharmanex, a multi-level marketing company.
Products from AP24, AgeLOC, Epoch Essential Oils, Powerlips Fluid and LifePak and G3 nutritional supplements are also within those brands. Even Nu Skin vigorously supports the side of social responsibility.
The company says “The mission of Nu Skin Enterprises has been to enhance people’s lives — through quality goods, competitive business opportunities, and a community that elevates and enriches.”
It does this by Nourish the Children, giving VitaMeal nutrition packs to needy children and its Force for Good program that supports humanitarian projects in 50 countries. The firm states its goal is to become the largest direct sale business in the world.
What Does Nu Skin Sell?
Today Nu Skin offers more than 200 skin care products through its network of 1.2 million independent distributors, and its portfolio includes about 10 brands.
PowerLips is a set of lipsticks which is formulated to help soothe and smooth lips while offering color without drying out.
This brand sells facial cleansing devices just as the new ageLOC LumiSpa, a dual-action skin care device that treats and cleanses the skin, along with anti-aging creams.
Brighter looking skin is the goal of the TriPhasic White line, which includes a mask, day lotion and essence.
TruFace Targeted Treatments
TruFace is a collection of anti-aging products including TruFace Instant Line Corrector and ageLOC TruFace Essence Ultra capsules which claim to help firm skin.

Alternatives to Nu Skin
Nu Skin may not be everyone’s best option, because it does not work well with your skin, or the price tag is not best. The large range of items can be daunting and confusing.
If that is the case take Formulyst and Advanced Dermatology into account.
Long-term and successful skincare is Formulyst ‘s philosophy. Instead of covering it up with lipstick, the company aims to help its customers achieve their best-looking face.
The extensive product range is tailor to anything from wrinkles to dark spots and dry skin.
Take Formulyst ‘s Full Anti-Aging Eye Cream for any skin problems. The multi-tasking solution includes retinyl complex and peptide technology. This help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while hyaluronic acid and cucumber extract soothe and hydrate the delicate eye area.
If you like the feel of a lightweight moisturizer, try Formulyst Super Hyaluronic Water Moisturizer. Hyaluronic acid helps keep skin plumped, hydrated and dewy looking.
Additionally, this oil-free formula is pack with multiple types of hyaluronic acid and it works as a moisture magnet by drawing water to the skin.
If you would rather not build your own skincare regimen, go for the simplicity of a skincare kit with Advanced Dermatology. This no-nonsense brand offers a pared-down approach to skincare.
The packaging is simple and streamline, and the products bring skincare back to the basics. The kit also contains just six essential items including a daily cleanser; serum; anti-wrinkle firming treatment; night cream; day cream and eye cream.
In other words, everything you need to achieve your best possible looking skin.
