Do Target Team Members Need Experience?
Applicants with customer service experience may gain preferential treatment during the Target hiring process; however, crew member jobs typically require no previous experience. Training includes a brief probationary period involving visual, verbal, and hands-on orientation lasting up to a month. Training period may vary by Target location and employee experience.

How Much Do They Get Paid?
Traditionally in entry-level jobs, team members generally earn between minimum wage and $10.00 per hour working for Target. Increases in pay and advancement opportunities into supervisory and managerial roles exist for motivated and dedicated Target crew members.
Scheduling and Holidays
Most team members work part-time, or 20 to 30 hours a week. Some Target locations may offer full-time crew member jobs. Shifts available include days and nights. Holiday and weekend shifts also exist for Target team members.

Working at Target usually requires a considerable amount of interaction with customers and coworkers. If you aren’t great with people, you probably won’t enjoy it. Target is also not the best choice for parents with young children who require daycare, as you will be expected to work shifts during times when most daycare centers are closed.
If you are able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time while remaining friendly to coworkers and customers, Target is probably a place you’ll like working at.
