When he was stranded in a blizzard in the first season of Manifest, Zeke seems to have passed away.
However, Cal Stone (Jack Messina), a traveler on Flight 828, discovered him after viewing the Callings.
Zeke is under the impression that he needs to track down Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh), a female traveler on Flight 828.

How Will Zeke’s Story End?

How Zeke Survived the Death Date in Manifest Season 2
The initial strategy for defeating the Death Dale was devised by the lone Manifest character who faced it and survived to tell the tale.
The same illness that reportedly claimed Zeke’s life in the first place, frostbite, was what he was dying of in the Manifest season 2 finale.
In spite of his predicament, Zeke played by Matt Long pursued his callings in an effort to protect Cal from Kory, Pete, and Jace. In the end, Zeke was successful in saving the youngster.
But in order to do it, he almost passed away before his time was up.
Jace was drowning, so Zeke had to jump into the ice to pull Cal out against resistance.
Manifest Theory Explains Why Kory & Pete Really Died
Regrettably, Kory and Pete were not spared from their destiny by Zeke’s strategy from Manifest season 2.
They attempted to follow the Callings, much like Zeke, and despite doing everything in their might to save Cal from Jace, both of them perished.
It was decided that all three were judged by the Callings jointly because of a connection to an old Egyptian tale known as “The Last Trial.”
Jace ultimately destroyed himself and both of his friends by making all the wrong decisions, including killing Grace’s brother.
Because of what occurred to Jace and Kory, it is presumed that the other passengers will be treated equally.
Manifest’s Sacrifice Theory Could Change Ben’s Plan in Season 4
The sacrifice theory provides insight into why Zeke survived and can adequately explain what happened to Kory and Pate.
Zeke saved Cal, as Ben pointed out, but more importantly, he gave himself the to do it.
That might be the real reason Zeke survived, rather than the fact that he followed the Callings and did well.
Ben’s present plan for the passengers won’t work, though, if sacrifice is indeed the only way to avoid the Death Date.
No one will survive past June 2, 2024, if he convinces his fellow travelers to follow the Callings’ instructions. It might cost a lot more to accomplish this.

Is Zeke on Season 3 of Manifest?
“Zeke comes back in Season 3 basically reborn with a completely refreshed perspective on his life and how grateful he is to have this existence he has [and] Michaela,” Long shared during a recent press event.
“He has 110 percent faith in these callings and [thinks] he has the answer for surviving the death date.”
How Did Zeke Not Die in Manifest?
While doing everything he can to stay warm and survive in a cave, he pulls out the magazine and uses a picture of Michaela Stone (Melissa Roxburgh) as a way to stay alive.
Though Zeke did in fact freeze to death in the cave, like the 828 passengers, he was resurrected a year later.
Does Cal Die on Manifest?
“It’s for Ben and the others to figure out where he’s been, why he was there, and what happened there,” Rake teased.
Noting that Cal’s sacrifice of more than five years of his life was one he “made for everyone in the world.
Does Ben’s Wife Die on Manifest?
Despite having no involvement in Grace’s passing, Ben (Josh Dallas) may yet be held accountable for it in season four of Manifest.
Grace (Athena Karkanis) was killed by Angelina at the season 3 conclusion of the show, which featured a startling twist (Holly Taylor).
She was stabbed by Angelina as she tried to flee with Eden.
