– Spotify Not Working –
Spotify Not Working? Spotify is one of the most commonly used music streaming services on all devices. Yet, what happens when Spotify’s not working? To get back to your music, you’ll need to do a little troubleshooting to find the problem so you can fix it fast.
We don’t normally see Spotify not working for a long time for all users, but it is fairly common to hear complaints from small groups of users each day.
Some Spotify problems and errors will leave you unable to stream music even when other apps and programs can connect to the Internet just fine.
We’ll walk through a collection of Spotify problems and fixes for those issues that you need to try to get back to your music.
Common Spotify Problems
Below are common Spotify problems you may likely experience on your Mobile devices.
1. Spotify Closing on its Own
This is something that happens most often on the official Android app, but it certainly is a very usual issue found on Spotify.
The first thing you should consider is that your SD card might be starting to fail, which happens quite frequently and is the main reason newer phones don’t support them.
If that’s the case, try removing your SD card and check if Spotify works normally for a while.
If you notice this as the source of your issues, the best thing to do is to reformat the SD card before inserting it back into the device.
Now, if this doesn’t work, try to reinstall the app and always keep it up to date.
2. Spotify Shared Account Issues
If you share a Spotify account with another person in your house you may see a message that if you play music it will stop the other user from playing.
This is a frustrating position to be in, but if you are willing to spend $5 more a month you can solve this by signing up for a family account.
For $14.99 a month you can each have your own Spotify account so that you have separate playlists and can both listen at the same time.
