Kansas EBT Card Balance

The Food Assistance Program offers food benefits to eligible low-income families, access to a balanced diet, and dietary preparedness and education.

Food stamps are available to low-income families who follow the eligibility requirements for federal revenue.

When Kansas food assistance is accepted, the payments must be deposited electronically on an EBT (Electronic Payments Transfer) account.

The Kansas EBT card is identical to a regular ATM or debit card, also known as the Kansas Benefits Card. Each month, food stamp benefits will be deposited on your EBT Card the same day.

Kansas EBT Card benefits can be accessed on your EBT Card account by 5 AM the morning after they are posted.

Benefits can be used to make approved purchases of food at qualifying retail locations. The Kansas Benefits Card is accepted as payment by most Kansas grocery stores.
