It will deposit food Stamp Benefits in each month’s EBT Card accounts in Georgia from the 5th to the 23rd. The last two digits of your ID number depend on when your money is deposited. Here is the time frame:

Here’s how to check the balance on your Georgia’s EBT Card Balance this year:

Check Your Last Receipt

The first way to check the balance on the Card is to search for the last receipt. This is the simplest and quickest way to put your current balance on your Georgia EBT Card.

Your balance will be displayed at the bottom of your most recent grocery store or receipt from an ATM. You can get used to having your most recent EBT receipt, so before you shop, you still have a fast way to test your balance.

Log in to Your Edge EBT Account

The second choice to test your Georgia EBT Card balance is available online through the ConnectEBT website. Visit the ConnectEBT website here to sign in and enter your card number.

You will be able to show your current balance and transaction history once you’ve signed in. You can build a User Account here if you don’t have a Connect EBT account.

Check by Phone

The last way to check your Card balance is by telephone. On the back of your passport, call the EBT Customer Service Number (1-888-421-3281) Hotline Customer Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Input your sixteen (16)-digit EBT card number after you call and you will hear about your new food assistance or cash account balance(s).

As you might be aware, a pilot program (Online Buying Pilot) has been introduced by the United States Department of Agriculture to encourage select grocery stores to accept online EBT cards for grocery shopping, including delivery to your doorway.

They have approved the grocery stores listed below for the pilot which will give EBT cardholders the opportunity to purchase food for delivery online. They are:

  2. Dash’s Market
  3. FreshDirect
  4. Hart’s Local Grocers
  5. Hy-Vee, Inc.
  6. Safeway
  7. ShopRite
  8. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
  9. Wright’s Markets, Inc
