Most fresh and unused items at Buybuy Baby can be returned or exchanged within 90 days of the purchase date (exceptions indicated below).

Return Exceptions Policy

There are exceptions involving 30 days and 60 days for special items at Buybuy Baby;

1. Smart Home Technology – Within 30 days of purchase, devices including smart doorbells, smart security & safety, and smart home thermostats can be exchanged or returned.

2. Seasonal Items Holiday: Products & Decor, etc. available for return or exchange within 30 days after purchase.

3. Air Mattresses: Within 30 days after purchase, air mattresses can be returned brand-new and unopened. Within 90 days after purchase, opened-air mattresses may be exchanged for a comparable product.

4. Electrics -Within 60 days of purchase, items like infant monitoring equipment and baby food preparation can be exchanged or returned. 

There are still items the customers can’t return to the stores, items like:

• Monogrammed, Personalized, Custom-Made, and Special-Order Items
• Gift Cards
• Shipping, Delivery, Gift Wrap, and Assembly Charge

Additional Exceptions

The following items are the additional items with exceptions:

1. Clothing – Within 90 days after purchase, fresh, unused items of baby, toddler, and maternity clothes can be exchanged or returned.

2. Car Seats and Strollers –During 90 days, you can exchange or return car seats and strollers that are brand-new and unused and still have their original packaging, warranties, and registration details attached.

3. Breast Pumps – For safety purposes, breast pumps that are unused, unopened, and in original sealed packaging may be exchanged or returned within 90 days. 

4. Seating and Activity Items – Pack ‘n Plays, swings, high chairs, bouncers, baby seats, and walkers/entertainers may be exchanged or returned within 90 days as long as they are returned in brand-new, unused condition with all of the original packings.

Buybuy Baby Gift Receipt and Registry Return Policy

Baby Registry – Within 365 days of purchase, fresh, unopened baby registry goods may be exchanged or returned for Merchandise Credit.

The regular return policy is applicable to used products.

2. Instacart: Purchases are eligible for exchange or refund within 90 days (exceptions apply), with an Instacart receipt.

Buybuy Baby Return Policy on Truck Delivery

• Oversized & Large Items – Within 30 days of receipt, truck delivery item(s) in unused condition and original packaging may be returned for any reason.
• To schedule a pickup of your return, we will plan to have our carrier get in touch with you.
• Shipping, storage, and other expenses (such as cancellation or restocking fees) might be included.
• Truck-delivered furniture returns are not permitted beyond 30 days; for help, get in touch with the manufacturer.
• Adult Size Mattresses: Comfort Guarantee: Give your body 30 days to get used to your new mattress after delivery.
• The mattress and/or set must have legal tags on and be undamaged, clean, and stain-free.
• Please be aware that the shipping cost is not refundable. There will be a processing and pickup fee of $99 in addition to the price difference between the two mattresses.
