Often, it’s just a matter of knowing where to look. The Internet is an amazing tool for unemployed hippies, bohemians, and free spirits.

Things you Need to Get a Job

Here are some things you might want to have ready:

  • Résumé
  • Cover Letter (one general letter that can be revised slightly to fit the job you’re applying for)
  • Entertainment Résumé (this could be very different from your more “official” résumé)
  • Headshot (for certain entertainment professions)
  • Portfolio (teachers, musicians, models, artists, designers, etc. need a portfolio)

  • List of References (personal & professional)
