How to Receive Money on PayPal
To receive money on your PayPal account, you’ll just need to provide the sender with one key piece of information: the email address your PayPal account is registered under. That’s it the sender enters your email address into a field in their PayPal account and chooses how much they want to send, and then it will head your way. You will get an email alert when you’ve received the money.

B. Another way to receive money on PayPal is to share a PayPal.Me link. PayPal.Me allows users to share a URL instead of an email address to receive payments. This is helpful for vendors who would prefer not to give their email address out to customers.
If you have a PayPal account, you can create a PayPal.Me link by following these instructions.
Log into or sign up for a PayPal account. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be prompted to set up your PayPal.Me address.
Upload a photo. This is optional, but it will help your friends know they’re paying the right person.
Choose your PayPal.me link.
Choose this link wisely. You can only create one, and once you’ve created it, it is yours for as long as you have a PayPal account.

How to Find Your PayPal.Me Link
If you already have a PayPal.Me link but are not sure where it is, you can find it on your PayPal profile. Here’s how to find your PayPal.Me link:
Log into your PayPal account and select Money from the menu bar.
On the right, select Send and request money.

Your PayPal.Me link will be listed below your profile photo.
How to Transfer Money from PayPal to Your Bank Account
If you want to get money out from your PayPal account, you can withdraw funds to your own bank account online or using the PayPal app. If you want to transfer the money online, here’s what you’ll need to do:
On your Summary page, click the “Transfer Money” button just beneath your PayPal balance. You can also access this option via the “Wallet” menu in the top toolbar.
Click “Transfer to your bank.”
If you have multiple bank accounts or cards linked to your PayPal account, choose which one you want to transfer your money to, and click “Next.”
Enter the amount of money you want to transfer to your bank, then click “Next” again.
On the next page, you’ll be asked to review your transfer. If all the information shown is correct, click “Transfer [your amount here] now.” Your money will then be transferred to your account.
Does PayPal Have Fees?
When businesses accept payments via PayPal, they get charged a percentage of the sale and a fixed fee. Generally, in the United States, companies will pay a commercial fee of 2.9% of the transaction amount plus a fixed fee of 30 cents.
Let’s say you invoice a client for $1,000, and the client opts to pay you through PayPal. You will receive $970.70. PayPal’s 2.9% amounts to $29, plus there is a fixed fee of 30 cents.
The answer depends on the source of the funding from the sender. If they’re sending from their PayPal balance or a debit/credit card, the payment takes just a few minutes. If the money is coming from a linked bank account, it can take 2-3 business days as it has to clear the bank. As a result, it may not be faster to receive money on PayPal than via normal bank transfer in some situations.
