Arizona EBT Card Balance

Overview of Arizona EBT Card Balance

The Arizona EBT Card is similar to a standard ATM or debit card, also known as the Arizona QUEST Card. Each month, food stamp benefits will be deposited on your Arizona EBT Card the same day.

You can access the Arizona EBT Card benefits by 5 AM the morning after they are posted to your QUEST Card account.

Benefits may be used to make approved purchases of food at qualifying retail locations. Most grocery stores in Arizona accept the QUEST Card as their payment.

Arizona Nutrition Assistance Program

The benefits in your name are moved into an account. Fidelity Information Services (FIS) will issue a QUEST (Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.

The card is used as a debit card to withdraw your cash benefits from an Automatic Teller Machine ( ATM) displaying the QUEST symbol or use your Nutrition Assistance Benefits to purchase food.

You may also use your QUEST card to buy goods from some retail merchants.

Outside Arizona, you are still allowed to use your EBT Card. A notice will be sent requiring you to answer questions about your use of EBT when 10 percent or more of your benefit amount is spent outside Arizona for a period of six months.

You are responsible for making use of your EBT Card, Personal Identification Number (PIN), and your benefits.

Keep your Private Pin! If your Cash Assistance or Nutrition Assistance account is accessed and used with your card or EBT alternative holder card, there will be no replacement for the benefits.

Benefits are not considered for replacement until they have been confirmed missing or stolen and are limited to benefits that remain in your Electronic Benefits Transfer account as of the date of the report.
