From Computer

iPhone & iPad

  1. If you have the Gmail app
    1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gmail app.
    2. Tap Menu   Settings  your account Manage your Google Account. If you don’t use Gmail, go to myaccount.google.com.
  2. At the top, tap Personal info.
  3. Under “Profile,” tap Password.
  4. Enter your new password, then select Change Password.

How to Reset your Password

  1. Follow the steps to recover your account. You’ll be asked some questions to confirm it’s your account and an email will be sent to you.  If you don’t get an email:
  • Check your Spam or Bulk Mail folders.
  • Add [email protected] to your address book.
  • Check all email addresses you might’ve used to sign up or sign in to your account.
  1. Choose a password that you haven’t already used with this account.

 

What happens after you Change your Password?

If you change or reset your password, you’ll be signed out everywhere except:

  • Devices you used to verify that it’s you when you sign in.
  • Some devices with third-party apps you’ve given account access.
  • Helpful home devices that you’ve given account access to.
