Arik Air is a privately and exclusively Nigerian owned commercial airline functioning both domestic and international flights. The company begins operations in 2006.
It is West Africa’s leading airline. Arik Air goes to many destinations plus London, New York, Lagos, Johannesburg, Dakar, Banjul, Freetown, Monrovia, Abidjan, Accra, Cotonou, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Douala, Libreville, Luanda, Sokoto, Kano, Gombe, Yola, Enugu, Calabar, Benin, Illorin, Ibadan, Asaba, Warri, Uyo, Owerri, Kaduna, Jos, Warri, Benin, Asaba and Enugu.
Arik Air function from its two hub airports in Abuja and Lagos and its head Quarter is situated at the Arik Air Aviation Centre on the grounds of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State.
In 2014, Arik Air made and expanded a commercial agreement with Emirates by signing a MoU with the aim of available customer’s seamless connectivity on each other’s respective route network.
As of 2016, Arik Air is the biggest carrier in West Africa, and serves a large network of destinations in Nigeria, Africa, Europe and US. The airline has become very dependable over the years, and cancellations are an issue of the past since they count with a fleet of over 25 aircraft.

Arik Air’s frequent flyer programme isArik Affinity Wings. Arik Affinity Wings programme permits regular travellers to profit from rewards for their loyalty with the chance to earn miles on domestic, regional and long-haul flights.

Carry-on baggage on all Arik Air flights must fit within the dimensions of 55 cm x 35 cm 25 cm.
Passengers on domestic flights on Arik Air are entitled to 6kg of carry-on baggage.
Passengers on international flights on Arik Air are entitled to 12kg of carry-on baggage.
Passengers flying Economy Class on Arik Air are allowed 20kg of checked baggage.Passengers flying Business Class on Arik Air are allowed 30kg of checked baggage. Infants on Arik Air flights are allowed 10kg of checked baggage.
Arik Air Check-In
Online check-in is available to passengers flying on all Arik Air flights. Online check-in opens 24 hours before your flight departure and closes 5 hours before on international flights and 3 hours before domestic and regional flights. Please visit the Arik Air website to check in online.
Arik Air’s check-in counters open 2 hours before departure for domestic flights, 3 hours before regional flights and four hours before international flights. Please note that passengers flying on Arik Air must check-in before the check-in counters close.
Arik Air check-in counters close 30 minutes before domestic flights, 45 minutes before regional flights and 90 minutes before international flights. Please make sure you arrive at the airport well before the check-in counter closes for your flight.
