Meeting with a Case Manager
After you submit your application, a DFCS case manager will interview you.
They can do this either in person or over the phone.
Prepare to answer questions and have proof of your household’s income, resources, rent or mortgage, and utility costs on hand.
If you don’t have something requested, notify your case manager.
DFCS gives you up to 10 days after the interview to provide that information to your local office.
