Also, you can have Amazon-purchased gifts delivered directly to the recipient. Simply change the delivery address to theirs during checkout (and remember to change it back to yours the next time you order for yourself).

27. For Secure Delivery, Use Amazon Hub Locker
Amazon Hub Locker is a great incentive for Prime members who live in places where porch pirates are a problem, whether they’re receiving or returning packages.
The self-serve locker kiosks are available at Amazon-owned Whole Foods shops and other retailers. They’re completely free to use for picking up or returning products.
Here’s how it works: Log in to your Amazon account to locate the nearest Amazon Locker. Put that address in your address book, and when you check out and pay for your order, select it as the default delivery location. You’ll get a code to unlock the locker when the package arrives. And you thought Amazon was just another internet retailer. Say hello to Amazon 4-star, Amazon Books, Amazon Go, and Amazon Fresh, Amazon’s four (soon to be five; see next slide) brand-new brick-and-mortar store ideas.
That is, of course, in addition to Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods, which we have mentioned.
Amazon 4-star businesses sell a variety of products that have received 4-star reviews from Amazon users, as well as a few new products that may not have the highest rating but are popular, new, and trending. This includes Amazon-exclusive goods like the Echo, Kindle, and Fire TV.
Anyone can shop in Amazon’s 4-star stores, but only Prime members get the same Prime prices they see on the website.
There are 44 Amazon 4-star stores open or in the “coming soon” phase in 2022, with locations all over the country. It’s worth noting that some of the stores are only open for a limited time during the pandemic.
Amazon Books is precisely what its name implies: it sells books. It is a chain of bookstores that pays homage to Amazon, which began as an online-only bookstore 26 years ago.
Discounts on Amazon Prime at Physical Amazon Stores
Moreover, they sell a curated selection of bestsellers, new releases, and books rated 4-four stars or higher by Amazon customers in its 24 locations (as with its other stores, anyone can shop at Amazon Books, but only Prime members get Prime prices).
You’ll also find Amazon’s Kindle reading devices, among other things, but keep in mind that this is Amazon Books, not Amazon 4-star or Amazon Go, so don’t anticipate a sandwich or a bunch of electronics.
For breakfast, lunch, and snack time, Amazon Go stores sell pre-assembled, ready-to-eat meals and snacks. The stores are true grab-and-go establishments.
There are no registers in the room. Shoppers enter the store using the free Amazon Go app, which they scan at the entry to get access, then scan the QR code of the items they want, bag them, and leave. They will charge your Amazon account.
In Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, and Seattle, there are now 26 Amazon Go stores (two of which are temporarily shuttered).
Amazon Fresh (previously Amazon Go Grocery) locations are tiny fresh food markets that sell produce. They also sell meats, and seafood, as well as prepared items created in-store.
At the moment, there are 23 Amazon Fresh locations. This is one of Amazon’s prime shopping benefits.
33. Amazon Style, a High-Tech Fashion Store, is Launching soon
We just mentioned Amazon stores and the rest of their physical stores. Now, Amazon has launched Amazon Style, a high-tech, high-fashion brick-and-mortar store. Browse the latest Amazon-exclusive fashions to get an idea of what you desire. Also, use the Amazon shopping apps to open your private dressing room door.
Inside, you’ll be greeted by personalized signage that allows you to navigate through screens of apparel and request goods to appear in a closet inside the dressing room, where you may try them on.
Or take them to the cashier, where they’ll be bagged and you can walk out the door without paying.
You can do this automatically in the app. Oh, and the apparel in the store is merely for exhibition; there are no racks upon racks of clothing.
The first Amazon Style store, which will sell men’s and women’s apparel, shoes, and accessories, will debut later this year in Los Angeles. You can see the concept in action in this Amazon video.

Aside: It’s a little odd that an email from Amazon.com just arrived in my personal inbox as I’m writing this. “Your new pharmacy has arrived,” the subject reads.
36. In the Amazon Prime Warehouse, Look for Used Items
Amazon Warehouse is where all of your returned items go to be resold. Thousands of secondhand and open-box items are available for sale at discount prices. These include everything from secondhand furniture and appliances to Amazon products, digital cameras, televisions, and unlocked cell phones.
37. Designer Deals may be Found at The Shop by ShopBop
The Shop by Shopbop on Amazon has designer work-from-home clothing. The Shop by Shopbop is an Amazon-owned fashion retailer situated in Wisconsin. They sell trendy clothing, shoes, designer items, accessories, and luggage.
38. Get Premium Shipping at Zappos by Hoofing it There
Did you know that Amazon also owns online shoe retailer Zappos? You’ll get two Zappos shopping points for every $1 you spend. This is possible if you link your Amazon Prime account to your Zappos account. That’s double what regular Zappos VIPs get paid.
39. Amazon Kids+ is a Service Provided by Amazon
Amazon Kids+ is similar to the kids’ table at family gatherings, but with a lot more entertaining activities. The all-in-one subscription gives you access to kid-friendly books, videos, games, educational apps, and more. After a one-month free trial, it’ll cost $2.99 a month to be a Prime member.
40. Become a Member of Amazon’s Prime Insider Program
You become a Prime Insider when you sign up for Amazon Prime. And as everyone knows, insiders have secrets to share. Many of the benefits of Amazon Prime membership that you may not be aware of have recently been revealed.
However, by renewing your Amazon Prime membership, you’ll receive news of exclusive discounts available. This only applies to Prime members on the Prime Insider website. They give Tutorials, and much more. This is one of the Amazon prime shopping benefits.
